Dr Baroness Helen Newlove
It was an honour to meet and chat to Dr Baroness Newlove sharing the events of one fateful day in 2007 that completely changed her world. Enjoying the usual Friday evening with family, after hearing a disturbance outside, Husband Gary Newlove went to investigate only to be faced with a vicious attack resulting in Gary never returning home again. Helen talks in great depth about her husband's murder in which her young daughter's witnessed, their experience as victims and how after campaigning for various changes, she was offered a peerage and a seat in the House of Lords. Helen also shares details of her book, It Could Happen To You.
