Irene Wignall - Author & Detective
This is a beautiful episode with Irene Wignall - Author & Detective with a career within Greater Manchester Police spanning over 22 years. Irene shares some of the changes within the force during that time and also shares her heartbreak and grief at losing her second child, Dusty. After her third child, Albie, Irene was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour. After a full recovery Irene has now placed her story into a book, Look for the (effin) Rainbows and more recently book two, Look for the (effin) Rainbows - A Self Help Guide (not really). These are truly wonderful books which will both reduce you to tears as well as laugh-out-loud as Irene hopes she will help others who may have been through similar experiences.
